The Good Life is a rock and roll band from Omaha, NE. Initially started as an outlet for Tim Kasher to explore musical ideas differing from his band, Cursive, The Good Life became fully formed with members Stefanie Drootin-Senseney, Ryan Fox, and Roger Lewis. They’ve released 5 full length albums and toured around the world since first beginning in 2000.

These songs are stunningly crafted but delightfully chill and pretty much perfect. Price’s singing is effortlessly cool and everything is beguilingly laid back but the interplay is stunning. It’s really this that most recalls early Beck. It’s that thing, you know it well. It’s not funny but it’s good in that way that makes it hard not to crack a smile, despite (or maybe via) the melancholy. -Mark Trecka 2022
