JIM SHARP
.Toronto native, London based, Jim Sharp is one of the premier remixers within the DJ game. Over the past decade, he has earned a reputation amongst deejays around the world as a sure-shot go-to for his Funk, Soul and Hip Hop edits and remixes in their vinyl and digital crates, receiving support from DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ Nu-Mark and Kenny Dope to name a few. Jim's sizeable discography of 7 inch remixes have regularly been at the top of the Juno (UK), HHV (Germany), Disc Union (Japan) and BUMRUSH45 (USA) best seller vinyl charts. As a DJ, Jim's rocked stages alongside the likes of Skratch Bastid, Talib Kweli, DJ Premier and Rich Medina. He's able to find the sweet spot between vinyl 45s or digital formats with sets comprised of 70% of his own remixes, edits and production. With a constant hustle and love of music, Jim never rests on his laurels or reputation
DOUBLE A
Double A cut his teeth as a pioneering drum and bass dj in Montreal, circa 1992. During the 1990s he performed throughout the North America and the rest of the world; from Cape Town to Tokyo and Los Angeles to New York. Along with his then DJ Partner, Double A also launched Dune and Nude Recordings in Montreal. With several releases and remixes under his belt and a decade of experience, he moved away from drum and bass in the early 2000s, transitioning to open format DJing. Double A is known for producing some of the longest running events on the east coast of Canada during this period. Since relocating to the US in 2015, he rekindled his love of vinyl and returned to collecting 45s. Fast forward to the present and Double Anow owns the 7" imprint, Mountain 45s, and has vinyl releases on Private Stock Records, Heat Rock, Friday's Funky 45s, Black Buffalo, and Eastside Edits to name a few. Known for his eclectic and funky sets, Double A seamlessly blends hip hop, soul, disco, funk, r&b, dancehall, rock, indie dance, and house, in both all 45s sets as well as digital. He's not one to look to impress the punter with rare collectibles, just expect fun dance floor heat.
DJ BEE
DJ BEE aka BEESUS, dad, pop pop, husband and DJ is a native of Philly, the city known for Ill DJs, its love of music and cheesesteaks. An accomplished turntablist, DJ Bee has been behind the 1200's and on the airwaves for over 25 years. For 25 years, you could hear DJ Bee on the airwaves of 103 Jamz WOWI in Norfolk, VA and now you can catch him spinning live on Fresh Radio, WNSB Hot 91 and Twitch TV. From Bee to You: I want the normal ear to understand turntablism as an art form. I'm a turntablist and I incorporate that into my set in the clubs, on my mixes and on the radio. It is important to develop a formula where you can please the masses but still "do you". I can mix and blend any type of music, read the crows at a party but in a way any partygoer from 18 - 70 would be like wow he is killin' it.
DJ OSO FRESH
Bobby Alirezal aka DJ Oso Fresh has been blessing the decks both far and wide since 1985. Oso has played every major club in DC and still won't stop keeping the city's Hip Hop scene alive and well. As a mixtape pioneer and with his reputation as a 45 heavyweight in the DMV, DJ Oso Fresh drings a diverse style and sound to every party he rocks. He a rocked with the likes of KRS-One, Phife (ATCQ), Jungle Brothers, Clipse, Sadat X, Vast Aire, Edo G, Organized Konfusion, Company Flow, Slick Rick, Ghostface & Raekwon, Mark Farina, Francois K, King Britt and many many more.
Advanced tickets are $10 or $20 for the deluxe advanced ticket, which will include a not yet released Jim Sharp 45 provided at the party.
