The CAN I KICK IT? monthly series at Songbyrd Music House kicks off a new year of martial arts flicks and action films reimagined. On Tuesday, Jan 28th experience a screening of the 1994 sci-fi action classic Time Cop (starring Jean-Claude Van Damme). DJ 2-Tone Jones will be providing a mix of hip hop and more to score the film live, scene-by-scene.
Doors open at 7p and the film will kick off at 7:30p. Food and drink specials will be available, plus the Shaolin Jazz merch table will be on hand with apparel items and more.
About Time Cop
When mankind perfects time travel, the government establishes the Time Enforcement Commission to thwart criminal attempts to alter the timeline. Police officer Walker is recruited by TEC Cmdr. Matuzak, but soon finds his investigation of Senator Aaron McComb being thwarted by elements within the government. When Walker's wife, Melissa, is attacked, he must travel across time to rescue her and save the future.
