SMYAL (Supporting and Mentoring Youth Advocates and Leaders) supports and empowers lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth in the Washington, DC, metropolitan region. Through youth leadership, SMYAL creates opportunities for LGBTQ youth to build self-confidence, develop critical life skills, and engage their peers and community through service and advocacy. Committed to social change, SMYAL builds, sustains, and advocates for programs, policies, and services that LGBTQ youth need as they grow into adulthood.

DVONNE (Noxeema Jackson)(DC)
The first album dvonne owned was the double compilation, The Best of Luther Vandross… The Best of Love. The first concert dvonne attended was a hip-hop festival where The Notorious B.I.G. headlined. dvonne delved into goth-industrial in the late 90’s and raver-club kid at the turn of the millennium. All of that comes out on the dance floor.
Since 2009, dvonne has been carving out a queer corner in DC nightlife. From Pink Sock, to the Pocket Gays, to CTRL, dvonne has a unique blend of genres to some of DC’s most renowned venues, including the Kennedy Centeer and Hirshhorn Museum, Echostage, 9:30 Club, U Street Music Hall, Black Cat, Jimmy Valentine’s, and signature queer spaces including Trade, Town Danceboutique, and Cobalt.
In 2021, Dvonne became a founding member of DC QT BIPOC collective Noxeema Jackson, curating sound and culture centering and embracing QT BIPOC artistry, and welcoming ALL to partake.
TOMMY C (Dance Club)(DC)
Tommy C. is a Washington DC-based DJ and member of Dance Club and TNX. Tommy is also a resident at Trade, a frequent selector at DC’s many late night spots, and the Camp Director of the after-hours stages at the Honcho Summer Campout, which takes place each August in Pennsylvania.
Tommy has shared the bill with DJs such as The Black Madonna, Omar-S, Keith Worthy, DJ Harvey, Rich Medina, Maurice Fulton, Martyn, Ciel, Jeffrey Sfire and Aaron Clark, to name a few, and has championed bringing talented queer DJs into DC, including Honey Dijon, Horse Meat Disco, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Discodromo, Honey Soundsystem, DJ Minx, Kim Ann Foxman, DJ Holographic, Gay Marvine, Carlos Souffront, Discodromo and Honcho. Tommy has appeared at clubs and parties including the Red Bull Music Academy Festival and The Carry Nation in New York, Folsom and Dore Alley in San Francisco, Hot Mass in Pittsburgh, The Black Eagle in Toronto, Nowadays in Brooklyn, Fag Bash in Provincetown, Southern Decadence in New Orleans, Deep South in Atlanta, Bridge Club in Portland, and Buttons in Berlin.

Kristy La Rata (Anthology of Booty)(DC)
Kristy la rAt is a proud DMV local and also calls Lima, Peru home. Community-based music and homemade media projects with family & friends are central to her artistic practice, as are cultivating emergent events around “our own versions of connection, care and coming undone together”. Kristy has DJed & co-organized purposeful dance spaces in DC with her two collectives Anthology of Booty and Maracuyeah DC since 2008. Previously Kristy co-led the Radio CPR community station for five years, and during 2020-2021 she and her neighbors, mostly elders, co-organized street parties as a form of mutual aid and community care.
Aphroditus (Past Pawn)(DC)

Aphroditus is a DC based DJ, musician, and lawyer. They mix pop, disco, new wave, house, techno, R&B, and post-punk to incite movement, resistance, and joy. Aphroditus wants to spread the liberatory energy they have felt on queer dance floors. JUSTICE WILL BE SERVED.

Franxx is a Post-Gender, Non-Binary Pop musician and performer. They’re based out of New York City and Washington D.C., heavily influenced by the late 90’s/00’s and a desire to create community surrounding the revolution of higher consciousness. Crafted on the wide architecture of experimental electronic sound, gliding on the boundary of the gender binary, awareness and subconscious, Franxx makes space for all people to be free.
BAMBI (Haus of Bambi)(DC)
Born from a wild night in a Berlin rave, Haus of Bambi holds at its core a respect for faggotry, sawftness, nightlife, high art, and sticky dance floors. We are committed to working with queer, trans*, non-binary, and femme and butch performers across the spectrum, and to creating spaces for the celebration of the complexity of queer identities. Haus of Bambi is a movement-based company that produces genderless and gendermore fantasies for the stage, screen, and club.
