Distrito Music Fest is the premier Hispanic American original music festival in the Nation’s Capital, featuring the best regional, national, and international original acts in celebration of Hispanic heritage and cultural diversity.

Unlike other festivals, Distrito Music Fest was conceived by artists and for artists, with the goal of providing original Hispanic American music a much needed, dignified paid platform to perform, while reenergizing the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) original music scene and beyond.
Distrito Music Fest is much more than a paid performance; in the weeks leading to the event the selected artists are immersed in a series of interviews, articles, and mentions through a multitude of media partners and influencers, offering them tremendous exposure and a great way to increase their visibility.

Additionally, DMF provides all participating artists with a set of professional pictures and a multi-track audio recording of their live performance.
This is why we’ve always considered DMF a reward for the best, hardest-working artists in the region!

The Crystal Casino Band is an indie rock quartet from Washington, D.C., whose music marries the early 2010s Tumblr-era aesthetic with introspective and socially-conscious lyrics. Many of their songs, such as “Waste My Time,”“Twenty-something Socialist,” and “Boys and Girls,”resonate with Gen Z audiences by articulating shared feelings toward modern dating culture and growing existential fears of climate change and radical politics. Their guitar-centered sound is a welcome return to form for classic rock lovers in search of a modern pop twist.

Who is Makeup Girl? Citizens of the District of Columbia have called their music "electrifying," "dazzling," and "funky." We Interviewed a recent attendant of their shows, and they said they are one of the best live performers in the city working today. But who are they, really? A pack of thieving mongrels hired by Jesse James? A political superPAC? No, and no. Their sole objective is to make you have a good time, with a musical blend of rock, rhythm-and-blues, and psychedelic jazz. Their newest project "Aftertaste" is set to come out summer 2024.

Thundering through the night with rose tinted glasses, Night Walks summons the kind of unapologetic wide-screen arena rock primed to take that last-call feeling through the break of dawn. Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland, the band began as an excuse to combine cheap beer and living with escapism from their collective millennial mess. Before long they emerged with a sound recalling the long drives and the final drags of that last cigarette, combining the space-laced swagger of David Bowie, the anthemic energy of Bruce Springsteen, and the synth-soaked heartland rock of The War On Drugs.




Formed in late 2020, Night Walks features singer and guitarist David French, bassist Sam Hughes, multi-instrumentalist Shawn Korkie, and drummer Alex Kohler. The group came together at the height of the pandemic, breaking early ground by transporting David’s brooding bedroom demos into an alternate reality, where the chords are massive and drenched in neon lights.
